The Prayer Box guides families through prompts and easy-to-follow steps to help children gain confidence in writing prayers for personal, family, and church use.

Speaking to God can seem very daunting to children and adults alike. In contrast, writing a prayer is a concrete action that can open pathways for relationship, and normalize conversation, with God. With this resource, children will learn to write different prayers for different conversations with God, including Wow, Oops, Thanks, Remember, and Help.

How to Use the Prayer Box:
Follow the steps on the cards and encourage children to use words that are familiar and natural to speak to God. The cards include prompts with ideas that children can expand on and change to write a personal prayer to God.
