This God’s Covenant study is the second study in Unit 1, Year 1 of the God is Love intergenerational Bible study series.

Unit 1 includes four studies focused on Storytelling: God’s Story, Our Story.

Storytelling Unit Proposition:
As the people of God, we are connected by God’s Story and our stories so that we can be storytellers of love in the world. 

This particular study, God’s Covenant with God’s People, includes four sessions. The first three sessions have an education focus and the fourth session is a creative intergenerational worship experience focused on the theme of God’s covenant.

God’s Covenant with God’s People Study Proposition:
God’s covenant connects us to God and one another through promises of faithful love so that together we may share God’s blessing with the world.

Session 1: God Makes a Covenant
God invites us into covenant relationship through faithful promises so that we may trust God’s presence throughout our lives.

Session 2: Loving God through Covenant
Loving God grows through trusting and following God’s guidance so that our lives reflect God’s faithfulness.

Session 3: Blessed to Be a Blessing
God blesses communities through connected relationships so that all people may experience God’s love.

Session 4: Celebrating God’s Covenant
We celebrate God’s covenant in worship by remembering God’s faithfulness so that we may become a blessing to the world together.
