Creativity And Innovation Cohorts

Creativity and Innovation Cohorts convene practitioners who want to develop new approaches to adaptive challenges in educational ministries. Cohorts may have multiple people working on their own projects or a singular focus for the whole cohort. Collectively, the Cohort will be guided through a variety of practical theology research processes as they work through the adaptive challenge. These will include:

  • Identify an adaptive challenge in forming faith.
  • Describe the context, exegete, and articulate the challenge.
  • Develop a research design.
  • Engage in quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Analyze research, identify themes, and trends.
  • Propose a fresh approach to address the challenge.

The Cohort will serve as a community of learning that provides feedback and encouragement throughout the journey.

Models and approaches that emerge from these Creativity and Innovation Cohorts may lead to featured presentations at the Center’s biennial symposium, Collaborative Conversations webinars, and/or publications.

Creativity and Innovation Cohorts are short-term commitments, Fall and Spring Terms, by virtual participation through video conferencing with both synchronous and asynchronous modalities employed.
